The magic of a Chanel shoe
From the legendary two-toned ballerina to the latest must-have espadrille, a Chanel shoe has the magical ability to turn just about any outfit into an effortlessly chic one, but at what price? We explored the Bond Street boutique to find out that a pair of Chanel shoes might cost less than you think…
Laura and I both bought a pair of Chanel shoes recently, and when we buy something new we like to tell you about it. After years of lingering, Laura is now the proud owner of a pair of monochrome espadrilles to wear all summer and, after years of searching, I bought the eternally chic black Chanel CC thong sandals to wear, well, forever. Whenever they are on our feet, we can’t help but notice that they hold a somewhat magical quality: they have the power of elevating any outfit, no matter what you wear them with. The good news is that they are a great entry point to the iconic brand, you can own a piece of Chanel from £285, which is relatively little for something so eternally chic. We headed to the New Bond Street boutique to pick four styles we think you’ll love too.
