I have had an Antonello beach bag wish-listed for the past few years. It makes so much sense to have a fabric (yet sturdy) beach bag that flattens into nothing in your suitcase. It is expensive, but it’s city-appropriate too and after waiting so long to buy it I know I will treasure it forever.
When looking at the season ahead, I often find it difficult to think about sandals and bikinis when every inch of me is wrapped up (where possible) in cashmere. This is where the summer box idea comes into its own. It helps to compartmentalise the shop – I plan what I want to buy for my summer trips rather than panic purchase pre-holiday. It also means I don’t miss out on the best buys that are inevitably released at the beginning of February when it’s far too cold to actually wear any of it, in the northern hemisphere at least.
