Your mini-break packing list
Packing for short breaks is often trickier than for a long-haul holiday – you’re pushed for space in your carry-on case, for a start. We’ve devised a foolproof packing plan that we think works for any mini-break…
At Wardrobe ICONS we’re lucky to have travelled a lot for work, so have become pros at packing efficiently. As boring as it may sound, start with the basics when packing – not just in terms of underwear, though we pack a couple of bras and as many knickers as days we’re away plus an extra two, just in case! Thinking about where you’re going and how you’ll get there is important. With flying, it’s probably easier to travel with a trolley bag, but if you’re jumping on a train, a holdall might make more sense. Most people have a holiday drawer and tend to just empty it into a suitcase when they’re packing but, let’s face it, there’s no point in bringing lots of lovely dresses to Cornwall if the weather’s likely to be changeable.
