  • How To Wear Denim Dresses

No wardrobe is complete without a denim dress – possibly the most versatile summer dress of them all. Unlike our other summer favourite, the little white dress, you have almost limitless styling options with denim and you can bring it out summer after summer. The key is the shoe you choose to pair it with. You can instantly change up your look by opting for a trainer while off-duty or a heeled sandal for evening drinks. Our top tip: remember that denim often stretches, so size down if you’re in-between sizes.

    With Mules

As long as you don’t work in an extremely corporate environment, make your denim dress office-appropriate with a closed-toe mule and grown-up bag.

    With Trainers

The perfect off-duty look, layer up your dress with a tee and trench, then add your favourite pair of trainers. Slides would also make a stylish warmer-weather alternative.

    With Sandals

For evening drinks or a summer soirée, use your accessories to elevate this normally casual fabric. A heeled sandal in a pop of colour and our current obsession – a hair accessory – will make you party-ready.

    With Wedges

Denim and raffia go hand in hand, so whether you’re jetting off on a city escape, or heading to a garden party, you can’t go wrong with this classic combination.
