Gül Hürgel, creative director and founder of the eponymous label, studied at the legendary Parsons School of Design before being urged by friends and family to set up her own brand – she did so in 2015. The Turkish-born designer’s globe-trotting upbringing and her current lifestyle in Istanbul influenced her most recent collection, with gingham and stripes bringing a touch of retro glamour.
