    Editor’s Letter

There’s no denying that accessories are one of the easiest ways to look stylish.

They are little effort for a lot of pay-off. Which is perhaps why, if there’s a bangle to be added or a scarf to be tied, we never hesitate. And there’s no doubt summer is when all these bits and pieces really come into their own. Open necklines and bare arms and feet are prime adornment real estate and we’re here for it.

When it came to choosing a cover star for our Accessories Issue, Laura and I were in immediate agreement that Maria Kastani was the obvious choice. I have never seen Maria at an event without her signature bold earrings, stacks of bracelets and fabulous shoes. She is our very favourite maximalist and accessories muse, so we were thrilled she agreed to let us into her beautiful London home to shoot all her treasures.

In this issue we also share our latest high-summer accessory designer finds, and after an epic discussion at Wardrobe ICONS HQ, we’ve settled on our top 10 most iconic pieces. I love Laura’s handpicked edit of swimsuit earrings – no one in our team is better at looking stylish on the sand. We also go head-to-head on bright vs nude summer nails – it’s fair to say, there’s a great argument for both camps. And finally, we look at the benched summer hero: barely-there sandals – because it’s not all about the Birkenstock, you know.

May this issue be the sartorial bow on your summer style.

If, like us, you have seen one too many basket bags this summer, consider this pink number your stylish alternative.

Throw on this necklace with your swimsuit and – ta da! You’ve added a little maximalist charm to your beach look.

We’ve had our eye on this pair of Prada barely-there sandals for years. As chic as they are timeless, just add pedicured toes.
