When it comes to jewellery, I tend to fall in love and never let go. There are pieces I like to wear every single day (my daughters’ initials, for instance), pieces that lift my spirits, and seasonal pieces that I only need look at to recall long, lazy summer holidays or the face of someone special. Each one is a talisman of memories made and a promise of new ones to come. Like I said, I fall hard.
“These days, we all have our phones for timekeeping, and so it makes me sad to see watches being sidelined. I personally love the feeling of a weighty, classic timepiece on my wrist, and of course anything that helps me create digital boundaries from my phone is a win-win in my book. I love the mint green face and retro dial.”
“A cocktail ring is a classic piece to have in any jewellery collection, but it really has to speak to you. As soon as I saw this sparkling heart, I was in love. It’s made even more special by the fact that my daughters gave it to me for Christmas (with a little help from their daddy).”
Brinker & Eliza
“This chunky gold chain, that I was drawn to for its vintage feel, is the piece that brings an edge to whatever ensemble I’m wearing. It can transform a white T-shirt in seconds, but also looks incredible with a blazer if I want to look polished.”
“I’ve always been drawn to beads; the crafty kind that add a pop of colour to a stack of bangles but don’t feel too fussy. Carolina Bucci’s bracelet kit comes with rare stone beads that I can switch up each spring and truly treasure, but I’ve been known to throw more low-key versions from my children into a wrist stack, too!”

“I’ve always loved pearls – they remind me of my grandmother. But classic studs didn’t feel right, so I spent a long time waiting to come across the perfect design. I have always loved Rosantica’s designs, so it’s perhaps no surprise that her combination of teeny hoops with a shiny, imperfect pearl caught my eye.”
Laura Fantacci X Otiumberg
“These Mini Vera hoops were my first real foray into design and a real labour of love, created in collaboration with the amazing founders of Otiumberg. It was so exciting to take my love of classic gold hoops and hone it into something that I truly believe every woman will love owning and wearing – myself included.”
“I grew up with a father who loved sailing and passed that passion on to me. Now, my urban life doesn’t exactly lend itself to all that much boat time (and there is the issue of me not actually owning a boat), but I tend to be drawn to accessories that hold meaning. The anchor symbols speak to me… and I love necklaces and bracelets with charms.”
“It was by pure chance that I found my beloved ‘L’ and ‘F’ rings. I was in Milan for a shoot and managed to squeeze in a little retail therapy (because, priorities) and I found them at my favourite boutique, Wait and See. I wear them every day and we have since secured Aname, the designers, as a Future ICON for all our readers, who loved them so much when I shared them.”
“Perhaps one of the parts of my job that I love most is being able to collaborate with other designers, helping to create pieces that I know our ICONS community will love. This dreamy necklace is one of those pieces and combines a few of my passions: delicate beading, a monogram and midnight blue. I’ve been layering it with finer chains and love the way it plays so nicely with every other metal and finish.”
“I have built my career on the belief that there are certain iconic pieces that will last a lifetime and never go out of style. The Cartier LOVE bracelet is the Burberry trench of the jewellery world. I have always wanted one, and never fail to marvel at the beauty and simplicity of the design.”
