I’ve got to a point in my life – and wardrobe – where I don’t buy a lot at the start of a new season. Instead, I focus on ways to wear what I already have and fill in any gaps. This season I’m planning on revisiting some of my most-loved pieces from last winter and spring, such as a pair of Nili Lotan jeans and my Burberry trench. I’ll be adding roll-necks to layer under dresses, shirts and jackets and making a big investment in a new handbag that will work with almost everything I own.
This is my first new bag in years and I wanted something big enough for my daily must-haves, but not too large it weighs me down. The green colour palette offers freshness, while being neutral enough to work with my autumn wardrobe.
A smart navy blazer is the key to polishing up a look, and Blazé Milano makes the very best. I’ll be saving up and making an investment early next year.
My tip for autumn is to invest in a few merino roll-necks and layer them underneath dresses, shirts and blouses to take them into the new season. This is a great way to maximise your wardrobe.
Receipts, ear pods, plasters for my girls – they all go into this pouch, which can be slipped into whatever bag I carry and means I’m never without the essentials.
