I am top-heavy, so I’ve always been quite limited with what I can wear on the beach – I’ve learnt that halter necks are a no-go (more cleavage), that bandeaus can work (opt for extra-wide bands) and that going a size bigger with your tops is generally better. I stick to clean lines, square necklines, wide straps and fuss-free block colours for the most flattering effect.
I find that really simple, sporty shapes always look best on those of us who are top-heavy – the sports bra style is great at discreetly flattening your chest. I also love the colour of this bikini; the yellow will look fabulous on blondes and brunettes, as well as with a summer tan.
I find that square-cut bikini tops look beautiful on bigger chests, and are very flattering. The knot-tie straps add a little bit of interest to this classic bikini, but they don’t sacrifice any of the practicality – they’re still wide and they sit perfectly on your shoulders for maximum comfort.
