This versatile oil can be used in both the bath and shower, making it a great beauty-cupboard purchase. A capful added to a warm bath is all you need, and the combination of French lavender, Roman chamomile, ho leaf and geranium create a super-relaxing aroma that’s a joy to bathe in. It also contains five carrier oils that left my skin feeling moisturised and nourished afterwards, with no need for moisturiser.

I have loved Verden’s 100% naturally fragranced products since they first launched, and this bath oil is no exception. Part of the D’Orangerie range, it’s an uplifting infusion of citrus and orange blossom – a fresh scent that’s also calming and soothing. I find I only need a couple of drops for each bath, so though expensive, a bottle lasts for a long time.

I love it when a product has multiple uses; these salts can be added to the bath or used as a face and body scrub. They gently replenish the skin’s natural pH levels, and after using a few times, I felt they really helped with some post-summer dryness I’d been experiencing and left me feeling calm and soothed post-bath.

This is an incredibly sumptuous oil that you massage into your skin and leave for a few minutes before getting into the bath. I found this method really effective at making my skin feel hydrated afterwards, and it was also a great way to really take in the relaxing fragrance. Overall, it helped with some muscle tension I had been feeling and helped me to wind down before sleep.

I’m a huge fan of Oskia’s products, and I already love incorporating magnesium, which these contain, into my baths to aid sleep, so this product is a winner for me. They create such a luxurious experience with a delicate scent and leave my skin feeling so soft. They’re even suitable for children, so a great product to have in the family bathroom.

Bath bombs are back – but they’re much chicer than they were. These ones by Ouai are beautifully scented; I found I only needed half a ‘pill’ to get a heavy hit of the floral aroma. They also left my skin feeling really thoroughly moisturised, which I hadn’t expected.
