Welcome to our 2022 gift guide…

We love putting this annual issue together – nothing gets us in the festive spirit more than seeking out the very best gifts. This year, we wanted to make our guide feel even more meaningful and mindful than ever. With many of us carefully considering how much we’re spending and where we’re spending it, our aim was to offer the ideas that feel like worthwhile purchases. So, we’ve filled every page with gifts that are guaranteed to be cherished, from little tokens to big-ticket buys.

This time of the year is the perfect moment to invest in the wardrobe ICONS you’ve had your eye on all year. Whether you’re gifting to self, having friends and family club together or asking Santa for something extra-special, on page 3 we’ve put together the wear-for-a-lifetime pieces worth adding to your list. Petro and I have compiled the gifts we’ll be hoping to find under the tree (my fingers are crossed for a Blazé Milano blazer) and Team ICONS share the items topping their wish lists.

To add that extra thoughtful touch, we’ve sought out the personalised gifts that say ‘especially for you’, and on page 7 you’ll find the most glorious pieces from one of our all-time favourite gifting destinations, Liberty London. Just stepping inside that iconic store makes me feel festive.

For the special women who always have our backs we’ve handpicked the precious presents that will spark joy for years to come. What to get the tricky-to-buy-for men in your life? We’ve consulted the experts (aka our husbands) who have shared what they’d love to open on Christmas morning. And for kids, teens and tweens, we’ve found the gifts that will keep them entertained well beyond the holidays.

You’ll also find our tried-and-loved products for beauty buffs, extra-special stocking fillers, and the little luxuries that make every day extraordinary. Plus, we’ve combed through the John Lewis seasonal offering to find the just-right gifts for all the family

I hope you have fun reading this issue and that it helps with all your gifting needs. My tip for the season is to make presents feel all the more ‘forever’ by wrapping them up in reusable gift wrap, rather than disposable paper. I’ll be heading to the haberdashery in Liberty London and stocking up on printed fabric which can be respun into little pouches, used in crafts or kept for next year’s presents.
