What Our Fashion Editors Are Wearing In August

I’m having a real yellow craving. I bought these striped trousers and have been inventing ways to rewear them. When I'm back in London, I love the thought of August in the city being a bit off-duty and a little more casual.

I was really surprised to find that chic maternity wear is hard to come by, then I found Nine The Label; this brown dress will serve me pre and post baby, I’ll be wearing it all summer long, dressed up and down, with and without straps. It isn’t just made for bumps, and I can’t wait to wear it every summer. It’s plissé design means it’s great for summer-holiday packing, too.

It’s officially Leo season. Not only is it my birthday month, but most of my close friends’ and sister-in-law’s, too. This means that I want to be a bit more dressed up than usual in the evenings. I think this co-ord not only looks effortlessly chic, but will be a useful addition to my wardrobe. Teamed with some statement earrings, a swipe of orange-red lipstick and some minimalist heels, it’s an easy summer-evening look.

I’m really enjoying wearing shorter hems this summer, always with flat shoes or the smallest of heel for chic, borrowed-from-Audrey-Hepburn vibes. I’m back in the city, so a monochrome look is on my agenda, but with a little nod to summer in the form of beaded bracelets and a basket bag.
