Stay at Palácio Príncipe Real, a relatively small hotel (with 25 rooms) in a pink washed building in the heart of the Príncipe Real (one of Lisbon's most fashionable) districts. The decor retains most of the original features dating back to 1877 and these are carefully layered with modern comforts, a restaurant and bar only available to guests and an oasis-like garden large enough to fit an indulgent swimming pool (unusual in the heart of Lisbon).
