  • How To Wear Chinos

If there’s one classic we really look forward to wearing come spring, it’s a great pair of chinos. They are as easy to wear as your favourite jeans and, once you find your perfect fit, will give all your shoes and tops a new lease of life. We would recommend opting for styles somewhere between slim and slouchy, with a slightly lived-in look, and always roll up the hem to achieve that ‘cool fashion editor’ feel. There’s barely an occasion you can’t wear them for, and to prove it we have styled them up four different ways.

    For date night

Chinos are a blank canvas, so dress them up for the evening with a statement shoe and off-the-shoulder blouse

    For the weekend

At weekends this is our off-duty go-to – just mix and match with your favourites classics, such as the ever-handy breton

    For work

Chinos can be office-appropriate and are a good alternative to traditional suiting in the spring. Make sure you opt for a tailored cut and pair with a crisp shirt and loafers

    On Holiday

Whether it’s a weekend city break or a beach holiday, there’s always room for a pair of chinos in our suitcases. Just add a cotton blouse, basket bag and espadrilles or slides
