It’s coat season
Call us crazy, but we all get a little excited about coat season here at Wardrobe ICONS HQ. Perhaps because the perfect coat is comforting, warming and, regardless of how much (or little) time you’ve spent getting ready, makes you look instantly polished. Especially this season, which has revived some of our favourite outerwear trends.
Take heritage check. A classic fabric we love to wear every season is suddenly being sent down catwalks on everything from pea coats to trenches and more. Capes are back, giving us all a chance to feel like (style) superheroes. And don’t even get us started on leopard print, which is at its best – and easiest to wear – in faux fur.
Then there are those well-worn favourites we’ve been pulling out of storage for years, that never seem to date. When we started comparing notes at work, we realised our staples were all so different that we just had to write a love letter to them. We hope you enjoy!
